Events at the Theatre

The Royal Danish Theatre offers a wide array of opportunities to meet the living arts. As Denmark’s principal national stage we always seek to incorporate an element of performing art at events hosted at the theatre. We call it Royal Entertainment.

Among the high-profile and professionally executed events hosted at the Royal Danish Theatre, and organised in close cooperation with our clients, are dinner parties, meetings, conferences, receptions, award ceremonies, private social functions and guided backstage tours.

The venues are amazingly diverse. The Old Stage with its gilt décor, stupendous chandeliers and wonderful frescos offers a sense of history, whereas the facilities at Operaen offer an elegant, luminous ambiance of austere modern design.

Facilities


The opera house banquet facility, Operaens Banket, is located at the very top of the foyer with a full view of Renaissance Copenhagen and the harbour.
